Full closure of northbound I-5 off-ramp to S 272nd Street
What
- Starting on Friday, Sept. 26, Sound Transit’s contractors will fully close the off-ramp from northbound I-5 to S 272nd Street for approximately three days. This closure is for completing signage restoration along I-5 North. The closure will begin at 10 p.m. on Friday and end at 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 29. Please follow the signed detour route to exit northbound I-5 at SR 99 and Kent Des Moines Road.
When
- One weekend, starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26* to 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 29*.
- The closure will be around the clock.

- Please follow the signed detour route to exit northbound I-5 at SR 99 and Kent Des Moines Road.
- Crews will work to reduce noise when possible, while using cranes, trucks, and other heavy equipment.
