Full closure of 21st Avenue S between S 316th Street and S 317th Street

Sound Transit’s contractors will close both directions of 21st Ave S between S 316th St to S 317th St for three days, starting on Sept. 22. This closure is necessary to complete final roadway restoration work along 21st Ave S. It is part of the final Federal Way Link Extension construction ahead of the extension opening.
When
- Beginning at 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22 through 5 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25.*
- This closure will be in place for approximately 3 days, around the clock.

- 21st Ave S between S 316th St to S 317th St (see map).

- Please follow all signed detours carefully.
- Crews will work to reduce noise when possible, while using trucks and other heavy equipment.
