Ongoing construction in Downtown Federal Way

Starting on Aug. 15, Sound Transit’s contractors will begin completing construction projects in Downtown Federal Way for approximately three weeks. The work will include a full closure on S 316th St, a full closure of 23rd Ave S, a full closure of 21st Ave S and various other roadway impacts. These closures are necessary to complete roadway restorations near the Federal Way Transit Center and future Federal Way Downtown Station. Follow all signed detours and drive carefully.

For approximately three weeks, starting Friday, Aug. 15.*
- Daytime work will take place Monday through Friday as early as 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
- Night time closures will occur as early as 10 p.m.- 5 a.m.
