Share your thoughts!
We are asking for your feedback on the Everett Link Light Rail Extension project as part of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) scoping. From now through Aug. 28, you can share your comments on:
- Project purpose and need.
- Alternatives to be studied in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and potential impacts.
- Potential topics to study in the EIS.
Our engagement website has information about the routes, stations, and Operations and Maintenance Facility (OMF) North locations currently being studied. The website is available in English, Español, 한국어, and Русский.
If you’ve been following the project for a while now, this may sound familiar! We conducted a similar public comment period in early 2023 as part of State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) scoping, before we began work on the Draft EIS. These comments remain valid, will be summarized in the EIS, and do not need to be resubmitted.

The feedback we hear from you during this NEPA scoping comment period will be shared with key decision-makers to help prepare the NEPA/SEPA Draft EIS in coordination with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). Comments will be accepted through Aug. 28, 2025.
* Please note that scoping comments are public record. If you provide personal information, it may be publicly available or published in future project documents.
