Daytime closure of southbound right lane on 23rd Ave S
What
- Sound Transit’s contractors will conduct a single right lane closure of southbound 23rd Avenue S between S 317th Street and S 320th St. Beginning as early as Monday, July 14 for approximately 5 weeks. Northbound traffic travel lanes will remain open. This will accommodate ongoing roadway construction related to the Federal Way Link Extension. Please follow all signed detours and pedestrian paths carefully.
When
- Beginning on Monday, July 14 through Friday, August 15*
- Work will take place during the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- The closure will be in place for approximately 5 weeks*

- 23rd Avenue S between S 317th Street and S 320th Street (see map)
More
- The sidewalk along southbound 23rd Ave S will remain closed for the duration of the work.
- Crews will work to reduce noise when possible.
- Cranes, trucks, and other heavy equipment will be used.
