Extension of weekend closure: Northbound I-5 off-ramp to NE 130th St and eastbound NE 130th St
As early as Saturday, May 30, the northbound I-5 off-ramp to NE 130th St and eastbound NE 130th St going over the I-5 overpass will continue experiencing closures. Westbound NE 130th St over the I-5 overpass will remain open. Crews are closing this ramp and road for utility work, saw cutting, and temporary striping. On Saturday, crews will perform utility work at the intersection of NE 130th St/Roosevelt Way NE and 5th Ave NE, resulting in a traffic signal outage. There will be a uniformed police officer on site to direct traffic during the outage. See maps for closure and detour information.
What
Weekend road closures at the northbound I-5 off-ramp to NE 130th St and eastbound NE 130th St for utility and road work. Also, crews will conduct signal work at NE 130th St and 5th Ave, causing a traffic signal outage. Residents should expect construction noise from work such as saw cutting and hydro excavation with a vac truck.
