Westbound S Reith Rd to Military Rd S right turn lane closed
What
- Sound Transit contractor crews will close the westbound S Reith Rd to Military Rd S right turn lane and shoulder daily beginning as early as May 27 through June 6. This closure is necessary to complete retaining wall construction activities along Military Rd S and S Reith Rd. Residents may notice increased noise and vibration during working hours. Follow all signed detours and drive carefully.
When
- Right lane and shoulder closure will start as early as 9 a.m. and go through 3 p.m.
- Daily closure for wall construction activities will occur from Tuesday, May 27* through approximately Friday, June 6*.
*Times and dates are tentative and subject to change.
Where
- Westbound S Reith Rd to Military Rd S right turn lane (see map for more details).
- Detour at S 260th St and SR 99 (see map for more details).
More
- Closure will be removed at the end of each workday and reset the following morning.
- Residential access will be maintained.
- Crews will work to reduce noise when possible.
- Cranes, trucks, and other heavy equipment will be used.
