Tower crane installation and night lighting at Auburn garage construction site
Starting Tuesday, June 3, Sound Transit will erect a new tower crane on-site at the Auburn garage construction site. The installation will take up to three days, and the crane will remain in place until approximately August 2026. You should expect more noise and heavy equipment in the surrounding area.
The tower crane will have nighttime safety lighting as required, ensuring visibility during operation. We will work to minimize light spillovers in nearby areas.
