Nighttime right lane closures on
Southbound I-5
What
- Sound Transit’s contractors will close two right lanes of southbound I-5 nightly for approximately three days, starting Tuesday, May 6, for necessary landscape and barrier removal along I-5 South. Please drive carefully and be mindful of the crews working.
When

Starting as early as Tuesday, May 6, for approximately three nights.

Work will take place between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Where
-
Southbound I-5 right lanes directly north of exit 147 (see map for more details).

Three left lanes of Southbound I-5 will remain open for travel including the HOV lane.

Follow all detour signage.

Crews will work to reduce noise, when possible, while using cranes, trucks, and other heavy equipment.
