Recap: April 2 South Downtown Hub Open House
Thank you to everyone who attended the April 2 South Downtown Hub (SDH) Open House and for sharing your feedback and input as we advance the SDH planning effort.
More than 150 people attended the open house. During the event, Sound Transit and the City of Seattle, in coordination with King County, shared progress on design concepts for community and transit hub connections in the Chinatown-International District and Pioneer Square neighborhoods and asked whether those concepts were on the right track. If you couldn’t join us last week, we have other opportunities for you to learn more and share your thoughts:

Visit the exhibition: Union Station for a self-guided exhibition showcasing the progress of design concepts. You can provide feedback about South Downtown Hub using the materials provided. The Hall is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Take our online survey: close on April 30. Please feel free to forward the survey to others interested in providing feedback. This survey is available in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Vietnamese.
Next steps
Sound Transit and the City of Seattle will continue working together and coordinating with King County to advance the design concepts based on your feedback. Later this year, we will have another engagement opportunity where we will share prioritized project concepts with cost estimates and an implementation plan.
