Ongoing construction in
Downtown Federal Way
What
- Sound Transit’s contractors will complete construction in Downtown Federal Way starting March 6. This work will last approximately three weeks along S 317th Street near the 23rd Avenue S and 28th Avenue S roundabouts. This effort will accommodate the ongoing reconfiguration of roadways near the Federal Way Transit Center and the future Federal Way Downtown light rail station. Follow all signed detours and drive carefully.

Work will occur on weekdays during the daytime only. You will receive additional notification for any overnight or weekend work.

Crews will use cranes, trucks, and other heavy equipment, so they will work to reduce noise when possible.
