Nighttime right lane closures on
Southbound I-5
What

Sound Transit’s contractors will close two right lanes of southbound I-5 for approximately three weeks. This closure is required for barrier removals and landscaping along I-5 South and will occur nightly starting Monday, Feb. 24. Closures will happen on Monday through Thursday nights only. Follow all signed detours and drive carefully, as flaggers will be present to direct traffic during the closures.
Where

Southbound I-5 right lanes directly south of exit 147 (see map for more details).

Two left lanes of southbound I-5 will remain open for travel.
When

On Monday through Thursday nights, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., for approximately three weeks, starting Monday, Feb. 24.

There will be no work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
