Draft EIS public meetings/hearings
start next week!
Join our upcoming virtual and in-person public meetings/hearings about the Tacoma Dome Link Extension’s Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). Each meeting is an opportunity to provide formal, verbal comments on our environmental analysis. We will also have printed comment forms at the in-person public meetings/hearings.

The virtual public meeting/hearing will include an overview presentation, a Q&A session with project staff, and a hearing portion where you can provide formal, verbal comments on the project and the Draft EIS analysis. The in-person public meetings/hearings will feature an open house-style event with project information and visuals where you can speak with project staff. A court reporter will capture attendees' formal, verbal comments on the Draft EIS during the meeting’s second hour.
Live closed captioning will be available at the virtual public meeting/hearing. Simultaneous interpretation will be available in select languages at the virtual and in-person public meetings/hearings. If you wish to request interpretation services, please submit requests in advance of the public meetings/hearings by calling 800-823-9230.

Final decisions on affected properties and acquisitions will follow the final design, which begins after the Final EIS and the Sound Transit Board selects the project to be built.
