Draft EIS comment period begins today!
We invite you to review and comment on the Tacoma Dome Link Extension Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The Draft EIS describes the light rail routes (called alternatives) and station locations under consideration and how each alternative might affect the surrounding natural and built environment. We are seeking comments on the analysis and findings in the Draft EIS, including possible project impacts, benefits, and mitigation strategies.
Explore the online open house to learn more about the project, access specific sections of the Draft EIS based on your interest, and learn about each alternative under consideration.
Provide your comments by Feb. 10, 2025. Your feedback will be shared with the Sound Transit Board before they confirm or modify the preferred alternative, with a decision expected in 2025. The Board will select the project to be built after the Final EIS is published, which is expected in 2027.
