Recap: South Downtown Hub Workshop #2
Thank you to everyone who attended the July 17 South Downtown Hub Workshop #2! We loved learning about what is important to the community as we advance the South Downtown Hub (SDH) planning effort.
More than 80 people attended the workshop! During the event, Sound Transit, in partnership with the City of Seattle and King County, hosted an interactive table-top activity for community members to share their ideas for potential improvement projects. The workshop provided a forum to gather input on how to enhance transit connections in the Chinatown-International District (CID) and Pioneer Square neighborhoods and to increase public access and use of Union Station. The workshop also launched an exhibition of early findings from the planning process, which will remain available for public viewing in the Joni Earl Great Hall of Union Station through the end of the year.
If you could not attend the workshop, you can still share your feedback by taking our SDH online survey! The survey will be open through Aug. 31. We look forward to receiving your input on ideas to better connect and support the CID and Pioneer Square neighborhoods.

在座共計80多位出席這場工作坊活動！活動期間，Sound Transit與Seattle市和King縣共同舉辦一場面對面互動的活動，讓社區成員彼此分享他們對潛在改善專案的新構想。工作坊也提供論壇邀集有關如何提升Chinatown-International District (CID) 和Pioneer Square鄰里社區交通連接及增加Union Station的大眾運輸動線和使用上的想法。工作坊另外也舉辦展覽，展示規劃期間的初步發現，截至今年年底，這場展覽將在Union Station的Joni Earl大廳開放供民眾參觀。

SDH Exhibition now open at Union Station
An exhibition is now open to the public at Union Station! Sound Transit produced this presentation in partnership with King County and the City of Seattle to engage community members about SDH planning in the CID and Pioneer Square neighborhoods. The exhibition shows what we heard at our first workshop and related engagement series and shares our preliminary traffic analysis findings. We hope to use the showcase to receive feedback on our proposed direction for further study. The exhibition will be open through late December 2024.
