Nighttime full road closure of 5th Ave NE from NE 145th St to NE 148th St and northbound I-5 on-ramp

As early as Monday, July 15, Sound Transit will close 5th Ave NE between NE 145th St and NE 148th St at night. The northbound I-5 on-ramp from NE 145th St will also be closed. This work is part of the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What

5th Ave NE between NE 145th St and NE 148th St and the northbound I-5 on-ramp from NE 145th St will be closed. Detour routes are in place for drivers (see map).

Local access will be maintained for residents.

Crews will work at night to minimize effects on traffic.

Residents should expect construction noise from heavy equipment such as an excavator, a dump truck, a compactor, a loader, an asphalt cutter, trucks and trailers, and light plants.

If the work is delayed, we will schedule additional closures and residents will receive a new flyer.
