Schedule update: NE 185th St closed for right-of-way alignment striping
As early as Friday, June 7, through Sunday, June 9, Sound Transit will be performing a weekend road closure of NE 185th St from 5th Ave NE to 8th Ave NE for striping of the new NE 185th St right-of-way alignment. The work, part of the Lynnwood Link Extension, is weather-dependent and was previously scheduled for Friday, May 31, through Sunday, June 2.

Closure of NE 185th St from 5th Ave NE to 8th Ave NE will remain in place for 48 hours to complete the work. Detour routes are in place for drivers (see map).

Local access will be provided to residents that live within the road closure limits.

Residents should expect construction noise from equipment being operated with louder noise such as an MMA truck, a thermoplastic truck, a paint truck, a hydro blaster, an air compressor, a generator, and light plants.

This work is weather-dependent. If work is delayed beyond the provided dates, a new road closure will be scheduled, and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
