Sumner Sounder Station parking shift starts as early as May 13
Construction at the Sumner Sounder Station is underway, and the contractor is moving to the next phase of construction, which will require a parking shift.
What
- On Monday, May 13, Sound Transit's contractor will close the parking area at Sumner Sounder Station. The current SW parking area near the intersection of Harrison Street and Narrow Street will be closed, and we will move those spaces closer to the station platform near the Narrow Street and Academy Street intersection.

- There will be no reduction of parking spaces with this new phase.
- Local and business access will remain for those on Academy Street between Narrow Street and Cherry Avenue.
