Breaking news: Sound Transit announced today that the initial segment of the 2 Line will open to passenger service on April 27! The 6.5-mile segment of the East Link Extension includes eight new stations in Bellevue and Redmond. Two-car trains will run every 10 minutes, 16 hours a day.

Trips between South Bellevue and Redmond Technology stations will take 16 traffic-free minutes when the 2 Line begins operating. Until then, you may see test trains running! Remember to be careful around train tracks; trains can be coming at any time, from either direction. Be aware of your surroundings, follow traffic signals and cross only at designated locations.
