Nightly road closures of southbound 1st Ave NE for roadway restoration work
On Thursday, Aug. 31, and Thursday, Sept. 7, Sound Transit will be performing road closures of southbound 1st Ave NE from Northgate Way NE to NE 103rd St. to mill and pave the roadway. This work is part of the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What
- Southbound 1st Ave NE will be closed from NE Northgate Way to NE 103rd St. (see map).
- Residents should expect noise from heavy equipment such as a mill, a loader, light plants, and various hand tools.
- Roads will be closed at night to limit effects on traffic.
- If the work is delayed or takes longer than expected, more days will be added and a new flyer will be provided to residents.

- 1st Ave NE, north and south of Northgate Way NE.
