On Thursday, June 15, Sound Transit will be closing NE 185th St from 5th Ave NE to 8th Ave NE for the implementation of the next phase of the NE 185th St undercrossing. This work will establish a new alignment of the NE 185th St right-of-way from 5th Ave NE to 8th Ave NE. Traffic will be maintained one-lane for east and westbound via mobile signals. This work is part of the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What
- NE 185th St will be closed from 5th Ave NE to 8th Ave NE. Detour routes are in place for drivers (see map).
- Crews will work at night to minimize traffic delays.
- Residents can expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night, such as a paint truck, a hydro blaster, and light plants.
- This work will take one night. If the work is delayed beyond the provided date, a new night road closure will be scheduled and a new flyer will be provided to residents.

- Thursday, June 15, from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning.
