As early as Tuesday, May 23, the northbound I-5 right lane will be closed from NE 145th St. to NE 161st St. The on-ramp at NE 145th St. to northbound I-5 and the King County Metro off-ramp will be closed. Sound Transit contractors will be landscaping as a part of the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What to know:
- The northbound I-5 right lane from NE 145th St. to NE 161st St, NE 145th St. to northbound I-5 on-ramp, and King County Metro off-ramp will be closed. Emergency vehicle access to King Country Metro off-ramp will be maintained (see map).
- Crews will work at night to minimize traffic
- Residents can expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night, such as a blower/hydroseed truck and street sweeper.
- Most work will involve typical noise to adjacent neighbors, not much louder than freeway noise.
- This night work will last for two (2) days. If the work becomes delayed, a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Tuesday, May 23, and Wednesday, May 24, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings.

- Northbound I-5 right lane closures from NE 145th St. to NE 161st St.
