Starting as early as Wednesday, May 3, Sound Transit will be working on sewer installation inside of the Sound Transit guideway yard, near the NW corner of NE 145th Street and 5th Avenue NE. This work is a part of the future Lynnwood Link Extension light rail project.
What to know:
- Crews will work double shifts to complete the 36-inch sewer bypass, to reduce overall time of community disruption.
- Residents can expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night. This will include an excavator, mini excavator, loader, light plant and various hand tools.
- This night work will consist of 14 days to complete this task. If the work is delayed, then a new flyer will be sent to residents.
When:
- Wednesday, May 3, through Tuesday, May 16.
- Sunday through Thursday: 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following mornings.
- Friday and Saturday: 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. the following mornings.
Where:
- Sound Transit guideway yard near the NW corner of NE 145th St. and 5th Ave NE.
