As early as Wednesday, April 26, Sound Transit will perform night work that will include the closure of southbound 1st Ave. NE from Northgate Way to NE 103rd St. for barrier removal and guardrail installation as part of the Lynnwood Link Extension. The work will take place at night to help minimize community and traffic disruption.
What to know:
- Southbound 1st Ave NE from NE Northgate Way to NE 103rd St. will be closed to all traffic as early as 10 p.m. See map for detour routes.
- Residents should expect noise from heavy equipment such as a vacuum truck, a jackhammer, an excavator, a loader, light plants, and various hand tools.
- If the work is delayed or takes longer than expected, more dates will be added and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Wednesday, April 26, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
