Starting as early as Monday, April 24, Sound Transit will be performing northbound I-5 right-lane closures between NE 145th St. and NE 161st St., including the closures of NE 145th St. to northbound I-5 on-ramp and King County Metro off-ramp. This work will involve landscaping for the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What to know:
- Northbound I-5 right lanes from NE 145th St. to NE 161st St, NE 145th to northbound I-5 on-ramp, and King County Metro off-ramp will be closed. Detour routes are in place for drivers (see map).
- Crews will work at night to minimize traffic delays.
- Residents can expect construction noise at night, such as a CAD truck, spreader truck, and light plants.
- Most work will involve typical noise to adjacent neighbors, not much louder than freeway noise.
- It will take one night to complete this task. If the work is delayed, a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Monday, April 24, from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning.
