As early as Monday, April 17, Sound Transit will start night construction, requiring the closure of northbound I-5 off-ramp at NE 107th Street, northbound I-5 on-ramp from NE Northgate Way, and southbound lanes 1st Avenue NE, between NE Northgate Way and NE 103rd St., for barrier removal, guardrail installation and equipment demobilization. This work is part of the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What to know:
- Northbound I-5 off-ramp at NE 107th St., northbound I-5 on-ramp from NE Northgate Way, and southbound lanes 1st Ave. NE between NE Northgate Way and NE 103rd St. will be closed. Detour routes are in place for drivers (see maps).
- Crews will work at night to minimize effects on traffic.
- Residents should expect noise from heavy equipment such as a vacuum truck, jackhammer, excavator, loader, light plants and various hand tools.
- If the work is delayed or takes longer than expected, more days will be added, and a new flyer will be provided to residents.

- Northbound I-5 off-ramp at NE 107th St., southbound 1st Ave. NE
- Monday, April 17, through Tuesday, April 18, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings.
- Northbound I-5 on-ramp from NE Northgate Way
- Wednesday, April 19, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
