Starting as early as Wednesday, March 29, Sound Transit will close the right-lane on northbound I-5 from Northgate Way to NE 130th Street and the northbound I-5 off-ramp to NE 130th St. for guardrail installation and barrier removal work. This work is part of the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What to know:
- Northbound I-5 right-lane and off-ramp will be closed. Detour routes are in place for drivers (see map).
- Crews will work at night to minimize traffic effects.
- Crews will be using heavy equipment and cranes. Neighbors should expect construction noises.
- If the work is delayed, additional ramp closures will be scheduled, and a new flyer will be provided to the residents.
When:
- Wednesday, March 29, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Tuesday, April 4, through Wednesday, April 5, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings.
Where:
- Right-lane of northbound I-5 from Northgate Way to NE 130th St.
- Northbound I-5 off-ramp to NE 130th St.
