Starting as early as Monday, March 6, Sound Transit will be performing night work along northbound I-5 for landscaping and drainage work. During this work, there will be right lane closures northbound on I-5 from NE 130th Street to NE 145th Street, with the closure of the northbound NE 145th Street off-ramp. The work is performed at night to help minimize community disruption and traffic effects. This work is part of the future Lynnwood Link Extension light rail project.
What:
- Residents can expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night, such as forklifts, manlifts, cranes, light plants and hand tools.
When:
- Monday, March 6 – Thursday, March 9, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
- If the work takes longer than expected, additional ramp closures will be scheduled and a new flyer will be distributed.
