As early as Monday, Feb. 27, Sound Transit will be closing the NE 175th St. NB I-5 on-ramp. There will also be a right lane closure on I-5 from NE 175th St. to NE 185th St. Crews will be removing Baker Tanks along the Sound Transit guideway. This work is a part of the Lynnwood Link Extension.
What to know:
- Sound Transit will be performing this work at night to reduce traffic delays.
- Residents can expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night, such as a loader vehicle, a forklift, light plants and various hand tools.
- It will take three (3) nights to complete this task. If the work becomes delayed, new night ramp closures will be scheduled and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Monday, Feb. 27, through Wednesday, Mar. 1, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings.
Where:
- Along the Sound Transit guideway, from NE 183rd Ct. to NE 185th St.
- NE 175th St. to northbound I-5 on-ramp.
- Right lane closure on I-5 from NE 175th St. to NE 185th St.
