As early as Monday, Feb. 20, Sound Transit’s contractor will begin work along 200th St SW and 44th Ave W in Lynnwood as part of the Transit and Traffic Circulation Improvements project. This work will include demolition of the roadway and hardscaping. The right turn pocket on 200th St SW eastbound and the right turn/merge lane on 200th St SW eastbound will be closed. The right HOV/turn lane on 44th Ave W southbound and the right turn pocket lane on 44th Ave W northbound will be closed. Work will take place 24/7 for approximately 8 weeks. Sidewalks will be closed on alternating sides of the street; detours will be provided.
