Continuing Monday, Feb. 13, Sound Transit will be performing night work inside the guideway along 5th Ave NE between NE 182nd Ct and NE 185th St. We’ll be building noise and retaining walls that need to be finished quickly to keep the project on schedule. This work is a part of the Lynnwood Link Extension project.
What to know:
- Residents can expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night, such as a crane, forklift, manlifts, light plants and various hand tools.
- Work will involve typical noise to adjacent neighbors, not much louder than freeway noise.
- This night work will last about three (3) weeks. If the work gets delayed, a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Week 1 — Monday, Feb. 13, through Saturday, Feb. 18, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following mornings.
- Week 2 — Monday, Feb. 20, through Saturday, Feb. 25, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following mornings.
- Week 3 — Monday, Feb. 27, through Saturday, Mar. 4, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following mornings.
