On Thursday, Feb. 9, Sound Transit will perform aerial guideway work on the span that crosses over North Northgate Way. The night work will include the full closure of the Northgate Way to 1st Avenue NE Intersection. Detours will be in place to direct traffic.
What to know:
- Sound Transit will be performing this work at night due to road closure restrictions to reduce effects on traffic.
- Residents should expect noise from heavy equipment and vehicles.
- This will consist of one working night to complete this work. If the work is delayed, a new night road closure will be schedule and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Thursday, Feb. 9, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
Where:
- Northgate Way and 1st Ave. NE Intersection.
- Local access will be maintained.
