Early morning and night work coming soon to the NE 148th Street Station Garage work zone

As early as Monday, Feb. 6, contractors will be performing early morning and night work from inside of the Sound Transit guideway, at the NE 148th Station garage. This is a part of the Light Rail Lynnwood Link Extension project. The work will consist of a concrete saw cutting and the use of light plants. Given weather conditions, work will go on as weather permits.

What to know:

  • Trucks will be entering and exiting from 5th Avenue NE to the NE 148th Station and garage entrance/work zone.
  • Residents should expect noise from heavy equipment and vehicles.
  • Work will consist of five working nights out of the dates noted below. There are multiple contingency nights scheduled, in the case that the work becomes delayed.
  • Given weather conditions, work will go on as weather permits. If the work is delayed or takes longer than expected, more days will be added and a new flyer will be provided to residents.

When:

  • Monday, Feb. 6, through Friday, Feb 10 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following mornings.
