As early as Monday, Feb. 6, contractors will be performing early morning and night work from inside of the Sound Transit guideway, at the NE 148th Station garage. This is a part of the Light Rail Lynnwood Link Extension project. The work will consist of a concrete saw cutting and the use of light plants. Given weather conditions, work will go on as weather permits.
What to know:
- Trucks will be entering and exiting from 5th Avenue NE to the NE 148th Station and garage entrance/work zone.
- Residents should expect noise from heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Work will consist of five working nights out of the dates noted below. There are multiple contingency nights scheduled, in the case that the work becomes delayed.
- Given weather conditions, work will go on as weather permits. If the work is delayed or takes longer than expected, more days will be added and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Monday, Feb. 6, through Friday, Feb 10 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following mornings.
