Early morning work coming soon to the Sound Transit Guideway in between NE 149th and NE 155th Street

Starting Monday, Jan. 23, Sound Transit will be performing wetland restoration work inside the guideway, from NE 149th Street to NE 155th Street. This work will start in the early morning. It is being accelerated to keep the future Lynnwood Link Extension link light rail project on schedule.

What to expect:

  • Residents can expect construction noise throughout the day, starting in the early morning.
  • Most work will involve typical noise to adjacent neighbors, not much louder than freeway noise.
  • This early morning work will take three weeks. If the construction is delayed, a new flyer will be provided to residents.

When:

  • Week 1 – Monday, Jan. 23, through Sunday, Jan. 29, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Week 2 – Monday, Jan. 30, through Sunday, Feb. 5, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Week 3 – Monday, Feb. 6, through Sunday, Feb. 12, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where:

  • Along the Sound Transit guideway, from NE 149th St. to NE 155th St.
