As early as Thursday, Dec. 30, Sound Transit will restrict NE 185th St. to one lane, from 5th Avenue NE to 8th Avenue NE, for concrete pours at the 185th St. undercrossing. 8th Ave NE, south of NE 185th St., will be temporarily closed during this work. Flaggers will be directing traffic around the work zone. Crews will truck in at NE 185th St. for concrete delivery. This work will take place during daytime hours. This work is part of the future Lynnwood Link Extension light rail project.
What:
- There will be flaggers present during this work.
- Residents should expect noise from heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Work may involve vibration activities to adjacent neighbors.
- Two-way traffic at NE 185th St. and 8th Ave. NE will be maintained, via one lane with flaggers to direct traffic.
- 8th Ave NE will be closed, south of NE 185th St.
- Work is weather dependent. If the work becomes delayed, a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Thursday, Dec. 30 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where:
- NE 185th St., in between 5th Ave NE & 8th Ave NE (just east of Interstate-5).
