Overnight drivers should be aware of upcoming lane and ramp closures on I-5 in Northgate. Sound Transit’s contractor crews will be repositioning and replacing erosion control wattles on the road embankment adjacent to northbound I-5 in Northgate. This work is scheduled to occur on the night of Monday, Dec. 5.

- I-5 in Northgate.
- One right lane on northbound I-5 from NE 70th Street to Northeast 85th Street.
- The northbound I-5 on-ramp from NE 70th Street will be closed.
- The NE 8th St. (Exit 172) off-ramp via northbound I-5 will also be closed during this work.

- Please follow the direction of flaggers and signed detours to safely access your destination.
