For one night, as early as Monday, Nov. 14 or Tuesday, Nov. 15, Sound Transit will be closing NE 185th St. from 5th Ave NE to 8th Ave NE for the implementation of the next phase of the NE 185th St. undercrossing. Work will consist of the new alignment of the NE 185th St. Right-of-Way from 5th Ave NE to 8th Ave NE and the new mid-block pedestrian crossing located at 5th Ave NE. This work is part of the future Lynnwood Link Extension link light rail project.
What:
- Sound Transit will be working at night, due to road closure restrictions to reduce traffic impacts.
- Work will involve noise from a paint truck, hydro blaster, forklifts and light plants to adjacent neighbors.
- Will consist of one working night to complete this work (see ‘when’ section). If the work is delayed, a new night road closure will be schedule and a new flyer will be provided to residents.

- NE 185th St. in between 5th Avenue NE & 8th Avenue NE (just east of Interstate-5).
