We can't believe it's already November! We hope everyone had a spooky and safe Halloween, and we're looking forward to the holiday season. Crews took advantage of great weather this fall to work on Link light rail extensions, including marking some milestones on the Eastside. Read on for the latest transit news!

To address some safety concerns around our stations in the Mt. Baker, Columbia City, Othello and Rainier Beach neighborhoods, 1 Line trains will deploy louder bells during the daytime hours in those areas starting this fall. Last month, we launched a new @Alerts_ST Twitter channel as a one-stop source for rider alerts impacting our trains and buses. The main @SoundTransit feed will still be the place to ask questions and keep up with the latest Sound Transit news; make sure to follow both accounts!
In celebration of the culture and contributions of those whose ancestors came from Mexico, Central America, South America, the Caribbean and Spain, we recognized Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 as Latinx Heritage Month. The next Future Ready project will take place Nov. 11-13 and disrupt travel between Capitol Hill and SODO stations. Please allow for extra time in order to reach your destination, especially when going to the airport. Link service will be operating every 15 minutes and the Link shuttle bus will operate approximately every 15 minutes on Friday, Nov. 11 and every 10 minutes Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 12-13.
