Scheduled to start as early as Wednesday, October 5th and proceed through Wednesday, November 1st, Sound Transit planned to reduce Southbound 5th Ave NE to one lane between NE 148th St. and NE 145th St. for sewer work for 24 hours with work hours operating during the day.
This work will be rescheduled to later in the fall. See the work area map below for the work that will be rescheduled to a later date. A new flyer and alert will be provided with the new work schedule. There may adjustments to the work area, traffic impacts and alternative detour routes once rescheduled.
What will be rescheduled:
- 24-hour right lane closure of 5th Ave NE southbound lane between NE 148th St. and NE 145th St.
- Two-way traffic on 5th Ave NE will be maintained.
- Sewer work will take place during daytime hours.
