Starting Wednesday, October 19th, Sound Transit will be closing NE 185th St. from 5th Ave NE to 8th Ave NE for girder deliveries & placement to the NE 185th St. undercrossing. Crews will truck in and set up the crane for these girder placements. This work is part of the future Lynnwood Link Extension link light rail project.
What:
- Sound Transit will be performing this work at night due to road closure restrictions to reduce traffic impacts.
- Work will involve noise from a crane, forklift, semi-truck deliveries, & light plants to adjacent neighbors.
- Will consist of (2) working night to complete this work. If the work is delayed, a new night ramp closures will be schedule and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Wednesday, October 19th from 10:00pm – 6:00am the following morning
- Thursday, October 20th from 10:00pm – 6:00am the following morning
Where:
- NE 185th St. in between 5th Ave NE & 8th Ave NE (just east of I-5).
- Detour routes are in place (see map).
