NE 188th St Rail Tie Delivery

Starting Monday, October 10^th, Sound Transit will be closing the NE 175^th Street to Northbound I-5 On-Ramp & performing a 2 right lane closure along NB I-5 leading up to the work zone. Crews will be delivering rail tie equipment. This work is part of the future Lynnwood Link Extension link light rail project.

What:

• Sound Transit will be performing this work at night due to ramp closure restrictions to reduce traffic impacts.
• Work will involve typical noise to adjacent neighbors, not much louder than freeway noise.
• Will consist of (4) working nights to complete this If the work is delayed, new night ramp closures will be scheduled, and a new flyer will be provided to residents.

When:

• Monday, October 10th from 11:00pm – 7:00am the following morning
• Tuesday, October 11th from 11:00pm – 7:00am the following morning
• Wednesday, October 12th from 11:00pm – 7:00am the following morning
• Thursday, October 13th from 11:00pm – 7:00am the following morning

Where:

• Along the Sound Transit guideway, approximately in between NE 185^th Street & NE 189^th Street
• NE 175^th Street to NB I-5 On-Ramp
• Detour routes are in place (see map).
