Full overnight closures of Military Rd S under I-5 S

What

Sound Transit’s contractors will conduct a series of full closures of Military Rd S under I-5 S. These closures will accommodate girder placements over Military Rd S for future Link light rail services.

When

All closures will be overnight between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. The roadway will be fully open during the day:

Full closures: 9/26, 9/27, 9/28, 9/29, 10/3, 10/4

Military Rd S under I-5 S in Federal Way (see map)

  • All work will take place 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.
  • Crews will try to reduce noise when possible.
  • Detours will be in place.
  • Cranes, trucks, and other heavy equipment will be used.
