On Sunday, August 28th, Sound Transit will be closing the Northbound I-5 to NE 175th Street Off-Ramp & the Northbound King County Metro On-Ramp for a crane mobilization. Crews will truck in and set up the crane for removal of heavy equipment. This work is part of the future Lynnwood Link Extension link light rail project.
What:
- Sound Transit will be performing this work at night due to ramp closure restrictions to reduce traffic impacts.
- Work will involve typical noise to adjacent neighbors, not much louder than freeway noise.
- Will consist of (1) working night to complete this If the work is delayed, a new night ramp closures will be schedule and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
When:
- Sunday night, August 28th, 11:00 p.m. to Monday Morning, August 29th 7:00 a.m.
Where:
- Northbound I-5 to NE 175th Street Off-Ramp (Approximately in between NE 170th Street & NE 174th Street).
