Starting as early as Monday, August 15th, Sound Transit will be working on NE 155th St. near the I-5 underpass. This work is part of Sound Transit’s Lynnwood Link Extension Project. These lane shifts will occur between the work hours of 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
What:
- The overpass will remain open and will not be impacted.
- There will be eastbound lane shifts on NE 155th Street for vehicles.
- The sidewalk on the south side of the street will be closed in this area and pedestrians will be detoured to the north side of the street; eastbound bicycles will merge with vehicle traffic through the lane shift; there will be a flagger to direct pedestrians and bicyclists.
- Sound Transit has coordinated with King County Metro, Shoreline School District, Shoreline Fire Department, and City of Shoreline to minimize construction impacts.
- Access to driveways will be maintained
When:
- Monday, August 15th through Tuesday, August 16th from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Where:
- Work zone is located on Northeast 155th beneath the I-5 overpass between 1st Ave NE and 2nd Ave NE (see map).
- Local access will be maintained
