Starting Monday, August 1st Sound Transit will be performing night work for “Pole Installation & Removal” from NE 107th St to NE 115th St. During the work, contractors will be closing both NE 107th and Northgate Way northbound I-5 on-ramps. The closure will be utilized for deck work. Work hours will be between 1:00a.m. to 5:00a.m. The work is performed at night to help minimize community disruption & traffic impacts. This work will be performed for 1 week in the provided locations.
What:
- Residents can expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night, such as Grinders, Manlifts, Boom Truck, Concrete Mixer, Light Plants, & Hand Tools.
- If the work takes longer than expected or the work is delayed, additional road closures will be scheduled, and new flyer will be distributed.
- Road & ramps will be closed, detour routes are in place for drivers. (See maps)
- Local access will be maintained for residents.
- Residents should expect noise from heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Will consist of (1) working night to complete work, yet multiple contingency nights have been added, in the case that the work becomes delayed.
