Night work on the Sound Transit Guideway from NE 115TH St to NE 125th St

Starting Sunday, July 31^st Sound Transit will be performing night-time rock ballast surfacing from inside of the guideway from NE 115^th St to NE 125^th St. The work is performed at night to help minimize worker exposure to the high temperature volumes. This work will be performed for 2 weeks.

What:

• Residents can expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night, such as a Mark IV Tamper, Regulator, Mobile track, Ballast cars (on-track), Loader/Dump trucks & Low Trailer (at-grade at 123rd), including light plants & various hand tools.
• All areas of work (excluding NE 123rd St) will be performed behind sound walls.

When:

• Week #1 – Sunday-Saturday, 7/31/2022 – 8/6/2022 from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning
• Week #2 – Sunday-Saturday, 8/7/2022 – 8/13/2022 from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning
