 44th Ave W closure and detour
From Tuesday, February 22 to Saturday, February 26, Sound Transit’s contractor will work at night at 44th Ave W. There will be closures on 44th Ave W and the on-ramp to I-5 southbound to remove falsework on the bridge. Detours will be provided. See map for details.
What
44th Ave W and the on-ramp to I-5 southbound will be closed nightly to complete the work.
When
- Nightly closures will be in effect from 11PM - 5AM, Tuesday, 2/22, through Thursday, 2/24.
- On Friday, 2/25, closures will be in effect from 10PM – 8 AM and Saturday, 2/26, closures will be in effect from 10PM - 9AM.

- The 46th Ave Direct Access Ramp will remain open during this work.
- Plan ahead, leave early and allow extra time to reach your destination.
