A reminder to our stakeholders that we will go in front of Board of Directors for the Oct. 28th meeting to authorize early procurement of long-lead materials for the NE 130th Infill station schedule in order to keep this project in line with Lynnwood link.
On Aug. 5, the Board adopted a new flexible framework to support moving forward with projects as rapidly as possible, including advancing the delivery of the NE 130th Station from 2031 to 2025. Learn more about the Board’s action in our Platform blog post.
The Upcoming work to deliver the NE 130th Street Infill Station by 2025 include:
- Finalizing design documents.
- Negotiating construction costs and schedule with the construction contractors.
- Finalizing permits needed for construction.
- Board authorization to proceed with construction in early 2022.
What our stakeholders can expect in the near future:
- An announcement date for an open house focused on construction.
- The Board’s decision on baselining the project and authorizing construction in early 2022.
