Community Advisory Group interest forms due Oct. 18

Help shape the future of light rail in your community! As part of our initial planning efforts, we are forming a Community Advisory Group (CAG), who will help advise the development of routes and station locations over the next year. Members will serve as ambassadors to their communities and will receive a stipend for their involvement in meetings ($100 per meeting). We are accepting interest forms through Oct. 18, 2021.

The CAG will represent all aspects of communities along the project corridor, including residents, community organizations, businesses and more. We are seeking 20 members who can provide valuable insight on behalf of their communities as our planning efforts get underway. Community Advisory Group members will:

  • Make recommendations at key milestones, including identifying a preferred alternative and other options to study during environmental review.
  • Highlight specific issues and trade-offs in the corridor.

If you or someone you know would be interested in participating in the CAG, please fill out an interest form online or give us a call at 206-370-5533.

Let us know you're interested!

Project information now available in multiple languages

At Sound Transit, one way we hope to better engage with communities is to provide information in languages commonly spoken in households, schools and communities along the corridor. Our informational project website is now available in Spanish, Korean and Russian.

Our Community Advisory Group interest form is also available in Spanish, Korean and Russian. If it would be helpful to receive future project information in a different language, please call our project line at 206-370-5533 or email everettlink@soundtransit.org, and we will do our best to meet your needs.
