Project update

East Link Extension Virtual Booth Graphic

Visit our virtual engagement booth to learn about East Link Extension

We missed you at fairs and festivals this year, so we created a way to connect through a virtual engagement booth. We want to keep you up to date as crews wrap up major construction activities for the East Link Extension while following COVID-19 safety protocols.

Please visit our virtual booth to learn about project accomplishments, upcoming plans for this year, and what to expect after construction. While visiting, we’d love to hear how you plan on using future East Link Extension and, of course, if you have questions for us, please send them in!

East Link includes ten stations in the 14 miles between Seattle's International District Station and the Redmond Technology Station. The train will follow I-90 to stations at Judkins Park and Mercer Island, then into south Bellevue, downtown Bellevue and the Bel-Red area. It will follow SR 520 to reach the Overlake and Redmond Technology stations. When East Link opens in 2023, passengers will be able to ride almost 40 miles of fast, reliable light rail from the Eastside to Northgate and to Sea-Tac Airport.

The virtual engagement booth will be open through Februrary, 2021.
